I wrote this song the year following my divorce.Because my son was so young at the time,I rarely went out in the evenings and I started playing around with Garage Band on my Mac. It became quite an obsessive past time and I spent many evenings recording loads of sad, melancholic gut wrenching songs. It was a very cathartic process and helped me claw my way out of an incredibly dark place. Recently, I have started recording short movie clips on my iphone and reworking them in imovie,- it made sense to do something with the songs I had recorded...watch this space..there shall be more.
