In Flight

The Birds on a wire series led me to my next series In Flight. I have long been seduced by the shine of silver and gold, and forever have incorporated it into my work in some way or another.
Frustrated at not knowing what to paint next, I metal leafed a load of canvases and then sat infront of them in wonderment, and then, the clouds started to emerge and and birds took flight into the shine..
